Smoky bacon pasta

Delicious pasta with Glocken-Beune Bacon Strips


Serves 4


500 g of pasta of your choice
100 ml white wine or apple juice
400 g strips of bacon
1 onion, finely chopped
2–3 cloves of garlic, pressed
2 tsps ground, smoked paprika
2 tsps dried thyme
1 tsps dried oregano
1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
Salt, pepper


  1. Put the bacon strips into a heated frying pan and fry until crispy.
  2. Add onion, garlic and spices and sauté for a few minutes until they begin to go brown.
    Pour in the white wine or apple juice and simmer until it has evaporated almost completely.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. As soon as the pasta is cooked, drain it. Season the bacon and spice mixture to taste with salt and pepper. Add the still moist pasta to the sauce and mix well before serving.
